The painting of the city is a continuing work in progress. Mainly due to its size I guess. It is a collage of different techniques. I used photo's of the skyline of Venice, Antwerp and Istanboul.
The photo's are assembled in photoshop and then drawn on the cardboard. Amongst the materials used were ink, paint, charcoal..As you might have noticed, there are several blanks still waiting for me to fill them up.
On some piece printed out pictures were afterwards glued on, and painted over again.
I love experimenting with the combination of different techniques. sometimes the result is exactly what I want it to be. Sometimes I have to start all over again.
